      Knowing first hand the problems related to finding parts for older generators, when we had the opportunity to acquire a stock of older Kohler generator parts, we took it. These parts include some dating back to the 70s including L600 and L654 models. Once we finished inventorying most of these parts we listed them here and offered them for sale.       In addition to knowing the generator model, specification # and serial #, that is usually found on a data plate attached to the generator or on most current models it is also on the top of the controller. Other information that often helps is: type of fuel (gas/diesel), age of generator, number of cylinders, type of use (boat, RV, standby, etc.).
